John 1:14: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (NIV)
Jesus is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being. (Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:1-3) He fills everything, everywhere in Himself (Ephesians 1:23) and He is sufficient for you and for me.
Everytime, we encounter Jesus, we encounter a dimension of Him that is the answer to our every need. Jesus is the answer to our every deficiency, yearning or ignorance. He made us and His revelation gives meaning and direction to our lives. Knowing Jesus brings completeness to our lives (Colossians 2:10). Knowing Him gives eternal life (John 17:1-3).
After many years of walking with the Lord, Apostle Paul made a passionate declaration: Philippians 3:10-11: that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. (NKJV)
Like Apostle Paul, can you make this passionate plea today?
PRAYER: Thank you Jesus for who You are. You are the Word made flesh, the All Sufficient One, the Alpha and Omega. I ask today that you reveal Yourself to me in a fresh dimension. Open the eyes of my understanding Lord, that I may know you more and more everyday of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
