Description
On November 9, 2024, Bethel Campus Fellowship in the State of Maryland intends to make history as we host the very first Proclaim Freedom Parade in College Park, Maryland. We will march with joy and expectation as we pray and sing that the spirit of the Lord is upon us and He has anointed us to proclaim the good news to the poor and freedom to the captives. This family-friendly parade will occur in two strategic locations, first the University of Maryland College Park, the state’s flagship school. We believe in the history of revivals being sparked among students and next-generation leaders and we are trusting God for a revival to take place on college and high school campuses. Our second location is US Route 1 which flows from Maine to Florida, covering the entire East Coast. Additionally, US Route 1 leads directly to Washington D.C., our nation’s capital. As we march, we are praying for the east coast, and the nation as a whole for revival to break forth from north to south. We are also praying for our Board Signs with evangelistic messages and government officials and for policies that will advance the kingdom of God. Students, alumni, churches, and communities will gather together in various teams (i.e., dance, prayer, evangelism, welfare, worship) to publicly proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ during this parade. The day will include a time of various evangelistic activities including marching with Gospel-related signs, worship, and a formal gospel presentation. Students will have an opportunity to receive prayer, hear the message of the gospel, and engage in outreach all with the intent to glorify Jesus Christ.
