Ever been discouraged because of some decisions you made that did not yield the desired results?.
Sometimes even our best intended efforts do not go quite as planned. Due to the imperfect nature in man since the fall of Adam, we have been prone to error and mistakes. Nevertheless, God has called us to perfection. Matt 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (NKJV)
God has given us a new life in Christ and we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. We are no longer to make decisions based on our natural inclinations but rather as the Holy Spirit leads us. (Romans 8:14; Isaiah 11:2-3).
This is a call to living above the normal inclinations of the human nature. It is what God has called us to in His word.
Because God’s word is always right and all His work is done in truth, it is infallible. By learning to apply His word and follow His Spirit in every detail of our lives, we too can become more and more like our Heavenly Father as we walk with Him in sincerity and in truth.
PRAYER: Father you are good! You are perfect in all your ways. Every word you speak is right and true. Lord, I need your infallible word to lead and guide me in all that I do. I want your Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth. Then it will go well with me. Help me Lord, In Jesus Name, Amen.
