GOD IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH

GOD IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH

GOD IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH 150 150 Bethel Campus Fellowship

Isaiah 40:28-31: Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (NLT)

Today’s devotional is a reminder that God alone is the source of your strength.

In good times or in difficult times; when you feel on top of the world or when you feel low, never forget that He alone is your strength.

Kindly meditate on the following scriptures, and let the revelation of God as your strength help you to develop a posture of total dependence on Him alone.

Exodus 15:2: “The Lord is my strength and my song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. (AMP)

Psalm 28:7: The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.(NIV)

Nehemiah 8:10: And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” (NLT)

2 Corinthians 12:8-10: Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.”Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]. (AMP)

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for you alone are my strength. My life depends on you. Help me to lean on you and draw strength from you every day, no matter how I feel or what I am going through in Jesus name. Amen.
