Proverbs 22:29 (AMP) – Do you see a man skillful and experienced in his work? He will stand [in honor] before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.
Have you ever been surrounded by incredibly skilled people and thought that for some reason, you did not belong there?
How could you? After all, you are not as smart or as accomplished as the people around you. Right?
Wrong!
The Word of God makes it very clear that when we make use of the grace God has given us to excel in our work, we will stand before people who have the power and influence to transform nations.
For this reason, we the children of God, who are faithful stewards of the tasks He has given us, should not succumb to thoughts of comparison or imposter syndrome when we begin to see the fruits of our labor. Do not believe the lie of the enemy that you are not cut out for what God has assigned you. Instead continue to give your thanks to God, continue to receive more grace for the work He has assigned you, and continue to be an ambassador for Christ in every room you enter.
2 Corinthians 3:5 -6 (NIV) – Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the grace you have given me to excel in my work. As I go in the way that You have for me, let every thought of comparison and imposter syndrome be uprooted in the name of Jesus. Lord, help me to grow in boldness to represent You everywhere that I go, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
