But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31
Some people trust in their abilities, college degrees, eloquence, financial capacity and social network but there is a better way.
Wise Christians would rather trust, hope and wait on the Lord because every success outside of hope in Christ is full of weariness.
As you go into your day today, make the choice to learn to trust God so you can renew your strength and mount your wings as an eagle.
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
Learn to withdraw and move up to the ‘mountain’ like Moses to seek God. – Exodus 33:7-9 (NIV)
Also learn to be like the Lord Jesus Christ in this regard. – Luke 5:16 (NIV)
It is time to have a clear vision and focus on godly and kingdom priorities. This way, you will not quit when you encounter storms and boisterous winds (Matthew 7:24-27) and will not grow weary of good doing (Galatians 6:9).
PRAYER – Father, thank you for your word to me today. Please give me the grace to make seeking you a priority. Help me to set my priorities right, to be immovable, and trust you wholeheartedly in Jesus name. Amen.
