I want to thank God for the miracle of the BCF annual conference and the celebration of the 20th anniversary on the 16th – 18th of February, 2024. It was a revival moment. God was gracious and was present to save, deliver and restore. On behalf of BCF leadership, I am writing to express our thanks to the Lord and to everyone that facilitated the conference in any shape or form.
To have 1,248 students from 264 schools and 306 churches in America in attendance was a miracle that I could not explain. God, by the above data, is showing that he has lifted Bethel Campus Fellowship to a place where we are easily partnering with churches across America in our vision of “Leading students to Christ and preparing them to become reliable men and women that God can entrust with his word for the next generation.”
Pastors and youth pastors came in masses with their college and high school students from their youth groups to attend the conference. One Pastor told me that he has adopted the BCF annual conference as a retreat event for his youth group. This development is a miracle for which we are grateful to God. We saw the artificial boundaries between church denominations erased by the presence of the Holy Spirit who was present to touch students irrespective of where they came from. The hoarding of youths and young adults by local churches is becoming history. BCF aid not a church and is there for students to see them saved so that they can go back to their churches filled with the Holy Spirit and ready to support their local Pastors in doing authentic ministry.
There was massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit expressed through various gifts by students who practically just got born again at the conference on Friday afternoon and filled with the Holy Spirit on Friday evening with evidence of speaking in new tongues. Students possessed and under demonic oppression were set free through deliverance sessions administered by fellow students and other young adults. I can liken what I saw to Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel Chapter 37. Ezekiel at the valley of dry bones took action. He prophesied despite that the bones were very dry and the situation was very hopeless.
“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.”
– Ezekiel 37:10.
By Sunday morning, the 18th of February, God had turned the dry bones into a vast army ready to be released into America to wreak havoc to the kingdom of darkness. These anointed young men and women have returned home to their families, schools and churches to bear Christlike fruits and are now making a difference in their communities. Someone shout Hallelujah!!!! God is so faithful.
I must thank God for bringing back the BCF alumni in great numbers. I saw some that I have not seen in 20 years. Those who were students are now full blown adults, and came back to give thanks to God for what he has done and is still doing today with the ministry of BCF in the area of students evangelism, discipleship and service. Our alumni represent the products of the vision of the ministry. It was good to note that we have raised reliable men and women that God can entrust with his word for the next generation. Thank you to our Alumni group that were able to come.
I will conclude by appreciating the BCF leadership team that worked tirelessly to plan and execute this conference. The BCF leadership is an army that I am proud of. When we move, we move and we move with excellence and strength. The Power Conference was so well executed that visiting Pastors thought we used professional event planners. No, it was done by students and BCF alumni. Thank you leaders for the spirit of excellence you exemplify.
I want to thank the guest speakers and all the parents, ministers and the students that came. I will also like to appreciate all those that financed the conference, especially those that funded students to register for the conference. Thank you! To the churches that sent their youths and young adults to our conference, I say thank you! Together we must fight the battle for the salvation of our children.
