RECEIVE LOVE, GIVE LOVE

RECEIVE LOVE, GIVE LOVE

RECEIVE LOVE, GIVE LOVE 150 150 Bethel Campus Fellowship

Romans 13:10 NKJV – ‘Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.’

Christ did not come to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:28). His love is so immense that it cannot be contained or completely fathomed. In order to love the way God commands us, first His love has to be perfected within us.

1 Corinthians 13:2 states, “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”

If not for love we would still be enemies with God. How can we do what Christ calls us to and be like Him if we lack in love? Perfect love must be implemented and engraved in our hearts so that we can minister to others and be a light wherever we are.

If we truly love God and our neighbors, we don’t withhold the good news from them, ultimately denying them access to the love Christ has shown us. When we have the love of God in our hearts, we cannot be stingy with it. We must share it with others because they are in need of it as much as we are.

PRAYER: God, please pour your love into my heart until it overflows so that those around me will encounter and hear about you as I can’t help but share the good news. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
