Today’s devotional is a reflection on the gospel of salvation.
The Apostle Paul reminds us to keep in memory that which was preached to us: …That Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day.. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to be born as a Man so He can pay the ultimate price by dying on the cross to redeem us from sin and to give us the power to become the children of God and partakers of God’s kingdom.
He came for all people, as many as would believe in Him, to be our salvation. He came to save us from our enemies and from our sins. That we might serve God without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives. (Luke 1:74-75).
In God’s plan of salvation, Jesus brings unexplainable peace and showers upon us the goodness of God. He brings light to our darkness and guides us in the way of peace. (Luke 1:79)
It is only by believing and continuing in the truth of this gospel that we can be saved. Jesus is indeed God’s gift to us!!!
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ and for being mindful of us. Thank you for your plan to draw all people back to You. Thank You Lord that we can take part in this hope, that we can share in this salvation. Thank you Lord, in Jesus name. Amen.
