THE VALUE OF WISDOM (1)

THE VALUE OF WISDOM (1)

THE VALUE OF WISDOM (1) 150 150 Bethel Campus Fellowship
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. – James 1:5 NIV
It is okay to lack wisdom concerning a specific issues as long as you recognize you need the wisdom that God alone gives.

Once you realize that lack, go to God and ask for wisdom. Seek His wisdom in your everyday living, not only when you need to make big decisions. Wisdom is more valuable and precious than money, gold or silver or diamonds and you need wisdom to be all that God is calling you to be.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says; Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path (make it straight).

  • Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: Trusting in God with all your heart happens simultaneously with not leaning on your own understanding. You can not lean on your own understanding and trust in God. You can not trust in God and lean on your understanding. Both work hand in hand.
  • Acknowledge Him in all your ways: As you trust in God, follow it up with committing your ways and plans for each day into His hands. This way, God will direct your path.

As you go through your day, make a determination to wholly depend on God for wisdom in all you do.

Jeremiah 10:23: LORD, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps. (NIV)

Psalm 32:8: I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you. (AMP)

PRAYER: Thank you Father for your word today. I recognize that you are the source of all wisdom. You alone know which way I should go, the right decisions for me to take and the best pathway for my life. Help me to live a life that seeks your wisdom daily in Jesus name. Amen.
