Romans 3:21-23: But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (NKJV)
You are apparently tired of a life of sin, but there is news for you.
You were never alone in this. Your immorality, self-esteem issues or whatever struggles you may be facing are not peculiar to you. You were born with them and every human being on this earth was born with them.
Let us take a look at the Bible:
Romans 5:12: Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power], because they all sinned. (AMP)
Romans 3:23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (NKJV)
Adam, our first ancestor was made in the image of God but when he fell, he lost his relationship with God and passed his own image and likeness on to his offspring (Genesis 5:3). Because you are a descendant of Adam, the word of God concludes you under sin. No matter what you do, you cannot be saved or please God by your own power.
In the midst of this sinful reality, God has good news for you.
Romans 5:6-8: When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.(NLT)
In the midst of your sinfulness and helplessness, Jesus Christ, the Son of God came to die to take away your sins. Jesus was hung on the cross of Calvary for your sake, to free you from the nature of sin and death and to restore unto you the life of God that Adam lost.
The decision to accept Jesus into your life today is a very important one. Only Jesus can save you from your life of sin and oppression. Genuinely repent of your sins and tell Jesus to be your personal Lord and Savior today. Receive His life and experience a change in your life and situation.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.(NKJV)
If you are ready to make a decision to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, please say this prayer:
Thank you Father for your word. I am tired of a life of sinfulness and being separated from God. I accept that Jesus died on the cross of Calvary to wash away my sins and rose again on the third day to make me right with you. From today, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Please give me the grace to walk with you from today on and be with you in heaven at last. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
